Terms and Conditions

General

These terms and conditions represent an integral part of the offers, order confirmations and invoices. Further or different agreements will only be recognized if they have been confirmed by us in writing. Streng Swiss AG - SYSTEM4 reserves the right to withdraw from a purchase contract at any time.

Other components

Our privacy policy, which includes shipping & Assembly, the information on cancellation & Returns as well as information on payment & Security also applies to the terms and conditions.

Prices & Payment

All prices are in Swiss francs and can be changed at any time without prior notice. The prices quoted by us in the order confirmation email are decisive. All prices are gross including VAT without any deductions. The prices valid at the time of the order apply to subsequent deliveries.

Payment methods

In our shop we accept the following payment methods:
  • Credit cards from Visa, MasterCard and American Express as well as PostFinance
  • Payments via Twint
  • Payments via PayPal
  • Payment in advance: Please transfer the total amount of your order to our account. The detailed information can be found on the invoice
  • Invoice: in collaboration with SwissBilling.

Order & Conclusion of contract

By placing an order, the customer accepts the conditions of sale. An oral or written order is deemed to have been accepted if it has been confirmed by us via email. Verbal agreements are only valid if subsequently confirmed in writing. Our order confirmation in the form of an email is decisive for the scope and execution of the delivery, as long as there is no different information in the item description. After our order confirmation, cancellations and modifications of the order are only possible with our written consent.

Delivery & Shipping

We deliver standard products (new products that are ordered directly in the online shop) to the delivery address specified by the customer within three working days (Switzerland) or five working days (possible European countries) after receipt of payment. Depending on the shipping method, if the first delivery is unsuccessful (for example because the recipient is away), a second delivery or collection at a nearby parcel shop is possible. Unless otherwise stated or selected, the furniture is delivered unassembled. The tools and assembly instructions are included in the packaging.

So that we can make a small contribution to saving paper, we are currently switching to purely digital instructions. We offer the assembly instructions online in text form and as a video. If a customer still prefers printed instructions, a message by telephone or email is sufficient. We will then send these to you as quickly as possible.

The shipping method and any assembly is selected by the customer and the corresponding costs are added to the order. Additional costs for special shipping methods such as urgent or express delivery must be charged additionally. For Camion deliveries, the signature of the recipient or their representative (e.g. employee) is considered confirmation of complete and flawless receipt of the goods. Short deliveries or incorrect deliveries as well as transport damage must be reported in writing within 24 hours of receipt of the goods and, in the event of transport damage, documented with a photo. Other defects must be reported in writing within five working days of receipt of the goods.

Delays in delivery do not entitle the purchaser to claim compensation for any resulting damage. Partial deliveries are permitted.

In the event of force majeure, we are released from our delivery obligations for the duration of such disruptions. No claims for damages or contractual penalties can be asserted as a result of late deliveries.

2-man home delivery service

The requirements for delivery to the place of use (2-man) are defined as follows:

  • The route to the destination must be freely accessible. For example, access roads, stairwells and corridors must not be blocked or blocked.
  • It must be possible to move across floors without technical aids.
  • Transportation aids such as furniture lifts and cranes can be used in the 2-man service against pre-defined ones Surcharges can be booked additionally.

Showroom furniture

Since showroom furniture is already assembled, you can pick it up directly in Dielsdorf (ZH) or, depending on suitability, have it delivered to you for a fee.

Notice of defects (duty to inspect)

The person ordering the goods must inspect them immediately upon receipt and immediately report any defects to us in writing. Short deliveries or incorrect deliveries as well as transport damage must be reported in writing within 24 hours of receipt of the goods and, in the event of transport damage, documented with a photo. Other defects must be reported in writing within five working days of receipt of the goods. If we do not receive a substantiated report within five working days of receipt of the goods, the shipment is deemed to have been approved with regard to obvious defects. Without our written consent, repairs and modifications to delivered goods may under no circumstances be carried out at our expense.

Returns & Refund

You can return your purchased products within 14 days. The products must be in their original packaging, complete and clean; otherwise, the seller has the right to reduce the amount of the refund accordingly.

Returns will be made at the buyer’s expense to the following address: Streng Swiss AG - SYSTEM4, returns online shop, Ruchwiesenstrasse 8, 8157 Dielsdorf.

If payment was made by credit card, the refund will be credited back to the credit card; If the payment was made in advance, the refund will be transferred back to your account.

Retention of title

The products remain our property until full payment has been made. We are entitled to have a corresponding entry made in the retention of title register.

Guarantee

We offer a two-year guarantee on technical components - for example folding mechanisms or drawer guides. If you use the service, we will replace the faulty part free of charge.

Liability

The liability of Streng Swiss AG - SYSTEM4 is limited to intent and gross negligence. Any further liability for direct or indirect damage or consequential damage related to the goods is expressly excluded.

Place of performance & place of jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction and place of performance for both parties is CH-8157 Dielsdorf. However, we are entitled to prosecute the purchaser at his registered office.

Final provisions

Streng Swiss AG - SYSTEM4 reserves the right to change the general terms and conditions at any time.
