Privacy Policy
In accordance with data protection legislation, we collect, process and use your data solely for the purposes of contacting you and establishing and maintaining our mutual business relationship. We do not sell personal data and only disclose such data to third parties where they are partner companies that assist us in providing our services. Mandatory legal requirements remain unaffected.
In particular, we use the data you provide to fulfil and process your order. To fulfil the contract, we pass your data on to the shipping company responsible for delivery, insofar as this is necessary to deliver the ordered goods. To process payments, we pass the necessary payment details on to the financial institution responsible for the payment and, where applicable, to payment service providers commissioned by us or to the payment service selected by you during the ordering process.
Use of Data for Information by Email
If we receive your email address in connection with the sale of goods or services, your subscription to one of our newsletters, your participation in one of our competitions or an enquiry, and you have not objected to this use, we reserve the right to send you regular email offers for similar products from our range that you have already purchased or in which you have shown an interest.
You may object to this use of your email address at any time by sending a message to the contact address described below or by using the designated link in the email. You will not incur any costs other than the transmission costs charged at the basic rates, namely the subscription or connection costs of your telephone or internet provider.
Cookies
We use cookies to personalise content and advertisements, provide social media functions and analyse access to our website. We also share information about your use of our website with our social media, advertising and analytics partners. Our partners may combine this information with other data that you have provided to them or that they have collected through your use of their services.
You can configure your browser to display a warning before a cookie is stored. You may also choose not to benefit from personalised cookies. In this case, certain services may not be available.
Google Analytics / Personalised Advertising
This website may use analytics services such as Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google. Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website.
The information generated by cookies about your use of this website, including your IP address, may be transmitted to and stored on Google servers, including servers in the United States. Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity for website operators and provide other services relating to website and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process the data on Google’s behalf.
You can prevent cookies from being installed by adjusting the settings in your browser software. Please note, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.
You can also prevent Google Analytics from using your data by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Further information about data protection at Google can be found at Google Analytics – Privacy and Google – Privacy Policy and Terms. The Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on is available at Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
When you use this website, data collected about you may be processed by Google and other analytics services in the manner described above, or in a similar manner, and for the stated purpose.
Where users have agreed that their web and app browsing history may be linked by Google to their Google account and that information from their Google account may be used to personalise advertisements, Google uses the data of these signed-in users together with Google Analytics data to create audience lists for cross-device remarketing.
For this purpose, Google Analytics initially collects Google-authenticated IDs from users of this website. These IDs are linked to the users’ Google accounts and therefore constitute personal data. These IDs are then temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data in order to optimise audiences.
Visitor data may include the end user’s location, search history, YouTube history and data relating to websites of Google partners. This data is used to obtain aggregated and anonymised cross-device statistics concerning the behaviour of users of our website.
Integration of the Trusted Shops Trustbadge
The Trusted Shops Trustbadge is integrated into this website to display our Trusted Shops quality seal and any reviews collected, and to offer Trusted Shops products to buyers following an order.
This serves to protect our legitimate interests in optimally marketing our offering, which prevail in the context of a balancing of interests. The Trustbadge and the services advertised through it are provided by Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne, Germany.
When the Trustbadge is accessed, the web server automatically stores a so-called server log file. This contains, for example, your IP address, the date and time of access, the volume of data transmitted and the requesting provider, and documents the access. This access data is not evaluated and is automatically overwritten no later than seven days after the end of your visit to the website.
Further personal data is only transferred to Trusted Shops if, after completing an order, you choose to use Trusted Shops products or have already registered to use them. In this case, the contractual agreement concluded between you and Trusted Shops applies.
Use of SalesViewer® Technology
This website uses SalesViewer® technology provided by SalesViewer® GmbH to collect and store data for marketing, market research and optimisation purposes on the basis of the website operator’s legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
A JavaScript-based code is used for this purpose to collect company-related data and process it accordingly. The data collected using this technology is encrypted using a non-reversible one-way function known as hashing. The data is immediately pseudonymised and is not used to identify visitors to this website personally.
You may object to the collection and storage of data at any time with future effect by clicking the designated opt-out link. This places an opt-out cookie for this website on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you will need to click the link again.
Your Stored Data
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), you have the right to receive information about your stored data free of charge and the right to have inaccurate data corrected. You may also request that your data be deleted where it is no longer required for processing the contract. You may also request that your data be blocked.
Requests for information, blocking or deletion may also be submitted electronically to the responsible office. For questions regarding the collection and processing of your personal data, and for requests for information or correction, please contact our customer service team at info@duco.ch. Further information and contact details can be found in our Legal Notice.
